Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has called for thorough investigations into the circumstances that led to the passing of popular TikToker Milly wa Doc.

The tragic passing of the TikToker has sparked nationwide concern, with the women's representative urging the  Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to leave no stone unturned as they seek to unravel the cause of her demise.

In an emotional and passionate statement, Passaris urged the authorities to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Milly's death.

According to her family, Milly passed on on June 3, after she had undergone surgery to remove a cyst but later suffered complications, including severe bleeding and kidney failure.

Passaris, however, has emphasised that the nature of Milly’s untimely demise raised serious concerns that warrant urgent answers from investigative bodies.

In her statement, Passaris appealed to Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor to take the lead in examining Milly’s case, ensuring that all forensic findings are handled with integrity.

"I call upon the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to conduct a thorough and transparent probe. The Chief Government Pathologist, Dr Johansen Oduor, should be urgently involved," the statement read in part.

The woman representative also raised an alarm over Milly's ex-husband, a doctor, urging the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to investigate him for abuse of office.

"I urge KMPDC to investigate the online allegations against her partner, who is reportedly a licensed medical professional. These allegations speak to possible abuse of office and failure in duty of care matters that demand immediate attention," the MP urged.

While extending her condolences to the family, Passarris has underscored the importance of a thorough investigation, calling for no stone to be left unturned.

"I am deeply disheartened by the tragic passing of Milly wa Doc. My heartfelt condolences go out to her children, family, and the fans who drew strength from her candid and courageous voice," the MP said.

Milly grew up in a humble family in Nakuru as the firstborn of eight siblings.

She had a great following on her TikTok where she created content about her lifestyle. Her fans loved and appreciated her because of her realness.
