Harrowing CCTV footage has emerged showing the final hours of the 25-year-old who plunged to his death from the 14th floor of an apartment in the Kilimani area.

Amid ongoing investigations, the footage appears to show the deceased, Festus Oromo, in a physical altercation with a woman in the Airbnb apartment before he was reported dead several moments later.

The day began ordinarily for the victim, who checked into the apartment on November 28. Surveillance footage showed the victim arriving and checking in at room B1406.

At around 4:19pm, a man believed to be a delivery driver, dressed in black, approaches the door and hands a package to Festus before quickly departing.

It remains unclear what happened in the subsequent hours, although at around 01:06am, a man who has been identified as Patrick is seen stepping out of the apartment. Nothing seems out of the ordinary at that time from the footage.

Patrick, who has since been taken into custody, lingers outside the door before entering again. Seven minutes later, he reappears, this time accompanied by another man believed to be Oromo.

The two appear to be cordial, with Oromo seen holding Patrick by the shoulders, while Patrick, dressed in blue jeans and black shoes and carrying a dark tan-brown bag, is holding a drink.

After entering the apartment, Oromo returns to the doorway soon after, where Patrick is waiting. They engage in a sort of conversation before leaving together. At this point, once again, nothing appears amiss, and the duo appears cheerful.

Surveillance footage captures Patrick once again, moments later, in a black vest, shorts and sandals, heading to the 14th floor lift.

Festus returns alone at around 1:15am, he knocks on his apartment and proceeds to the lift area before returning to the camera's frame a minute later.

Around a minute later, he enters the apartment, and a scuffle ensues between Oromo and a woman, with the door closing as the confrontation persists inside the apartment.

What happens inside the apartment during this time remains unclear, although footage from the parking captures the horrifying moment Oromo's body crashes on the roof of a parked vehicle.

Two suspects, including the woman seen in the CCTV footage altercation, have since been arrested and will remain in police custody for 14 days pending the conclusion of a probe by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
