15 Nairobi County council askaris have been busted allegedly collecting bribes.
The said officers are said to have been arrested in the Central Business District (CBD) before being taken to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) headquarters.
The city askaris were taken to the anti-graft centre for processing before being arraigned in court to face court charges.
This is the latest incident of the city council officers being put on the spot for the wrong reasons.
They have previously been accused of harrasing small scale traders and hawkers in the city.
