Standard Three Pupil in Nakuru Found Guilty of Murder

A Standard Three pupil in Nakuru has been found guilty of murder.

The 12-year-old boy claimed that he was directed by an unidentified man to stab his girlfriend.

According to court documents, he stated that a tall man armed with a machete ordered him to commit the heinous act and he obliged. 

The boy then stabbed Mary Wairimu, 11, to death on July 5, 2016, before proceeding to the deceased's sister to confess what he had done.

High Court judge Christine Meoli found him guilty of the offence though the sentencing will take place on May 31st.

She further directed that the minor be held in custody until the said date after receiving a report from the Kinangop probation officer.
