Blogger Susan Mukami Who Was Reported Missing Was Stabbed in Nairobi CBD

Susan Mukami, a Nairobi-based blogger who went missing on Saturday night after having a chat with her sister, has been found at a Nairobi Hospital with stab wounds.

According to a friend who visited her in hospital, Mukami was on her way back to the Central Business District when she was attacked by muggers along Tom Mboya Street.

She was then stabbed by the men who also robbed her belongings before leaving her bleeding by the roadside.

Mukami later found herself in hospital but has no idea how she got there.

Her sister had put a post on Facebook on Sunday appealing to anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact her.

Mukami is a content writer for Potentash.com and was featured on a local daily as one of the Kenyans who have made it big in freelancing due to lack of jobs.

Last week, controversial blogger Robert Alai made claims that his life was in danger and claimed that Raila Odinga Junior, son of Opposition Chief Raila Odinga, intended to kill him.

"Raila Odinga junior has given some 5 men in black goons of ODM to look for me and stab me with a knife.

"Junior, you are a PIG. If the democracy your father fought for us for him not to be criticised then tell him that he can take back that democracy," he said.

Odinga Junior dismissed the allegations saying he barely knew Alai and that he should report the matter to the police.
