Nairobi Senator and Gubernatorial Aspirant Mike Sonko clashed with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris after Sonko shared a clip of Passaris endorsing him on Twitter.
The clip was part of a past interview that Ms Passaris did with Capital FM in August 2016.
The Woman-Rep Aspirant was answering a question on who she would prefer for the Nairobi County gubernatorial seat between Sonko and incumbent Governor Evans Kidero.
In the video, Passaris is heard saying,"If the two were against each other it would definitely be Sonko for one simple reason that he is connected with the people, but if it was about the money Evans Kidero would emerge victorious."
Posting the video on his Twitter handle, Sonko wrote,"Despite coming from the same camp, Esther Passaris has disowned KideroEvans & I don't blame her. His failure as Governor is monumental."

Passaris, however, lashed back at the Senator where she referred to his actions as desperate adding that her vote belonged to Governor Kidero.
She tweeted, "My vote is 100% for Kidero Evans #TanoTena. He's the right man for the job. To use a Capital FM interview dated Aug 2016 is desperate."
