Mutahi Ngunyi Asks The Kamba Community to Vote Decisively on August Elections

Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has urged the Kamba Community led Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to vote decisively in the August 8th election.

In his weekly column the Fifth Estate, Prof Ngunyi noted that the Kamba nation would determine the outcome of the upcoming elections.

"If in 2007 they had supported Kibaki or Raila we would have avoided civil war. If in the August election you vote decisively there will be no crisis. In sum, the Kamba nation will determine this election," he stated.

Ngunyi, however, warned the team against supporting the National Super Alliance (NASA) stating that the Opposition alliance was like a "Venus fly trap that would chew their leaders" after winning the elections.

"Dear Kamba nation, NASA is like a flower known as the venus fly trap which eats animals... Dear Kamba nation, NASA has attracted your leaders with nectar and the color red but if NASA wins your leaders will be chewed like frogs and flies of the venus fly trap ask Musila and Nyenze," the analyst opined.

Prof Ngunyi and his team further noted that the country "lacked a midwife" and asked Kenyans to vote decisively failure to which the matter would be taken to the courts where the "innocent would be hanged and the guilty rewarded".

"Fellow countrymen, if we leave our matters to the Courts they will hang the innocent man and reward the undeserving sinner, we must vote decisively to avoid this," the team stated.
