Mutahi Ngunyi Asks NASA Leader Raila Odinga to Concede Defeat

Political Analyst Prof Mutahi Ngunyi and his team from the Fort Hall School of Government on Sunday urged Opposition Leader Raila Odinga to concede defeat.

In their weekly show the Fifth Estate, the team noted that Raila had no option but to concede defeat, re-group and save his face from shame.

"He has no option but to concede defeat. If he concedes defeat, he will regroup and save face locally and internationally," Ngunyi stated.

The team, however, noted that Mr Odinga had opted not to concede and go underground, a move that could fuel speculation and unnecessary tension.

Regarding President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Fort School of Government submitted that the Head of State had two main orders of business after being sworn in.

The Prof and his group mentioned that Uhuru's first order of business should be to finish Raila completely and secondly to change the constitution to accommodate the election losers.

"For the last four years, Raila has disorganized Uhuru with menacing pleasure. If allowed to regroup, he would be twice as menacing and twice as poisonous to our national psyche.

"To stay at the top, therefore, Uhuru must destroy Raila with no mercy for he will receive none from Raila," the team submitted.

Addressing the issue of the over 6.7Million people who voted for the opposition, the analysts advised President Kenyatta to actively include them in his government's plan.

" To lock out half of the country for 5 years because they supported Raila is to engage in constitutional nonsense," they stated.

This remarks did not go well with NASA supporters most of who felt that the Prof should focus more on addressing the allegations facing him at the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal other than advising Raila.

Here are some reactions:

When Raila will be gone, will you have something else to talk about? He has been your main topic on YouTube.
