The Ministry of Interior through the Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa has ordered politicians to remove all their campaign posters or face action.
The Regional Coordinator on Sunday asked all the six county governments in the region to ensure that the posters were removed since they made the areas look dirty adding that they were turning away tourists and investors.
“The six county governments should give politicians a one-week notice to clean the counties.
“We don’t want to see posters, we want to see development," Marwa stated.
The Regional Coordinator also called on all the residents to maintain peace stating that "elections come and go but life must go on peacefully".
