Four government offices in Kabarnet Town, Baringo County were broken into on Friday night.

The affected offices include the Children's office, office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Department of Civil registration's office and Livestock office.

Okwanyo stated that he suspected the burglary was an inside job adding that the incident had paralysed services in the affected offices.

He noted that tough security measures will also be put in place to curb the same incidences from happening in the future.

"These are not people who come from far but also if they are not from within they must have been guided by staffs who work in the offices," said Okwanyo.

In August six computers were stolen from the Nyamira County Government Treasury offices.

According to Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, suspected raiders broke into the premises and only took away computers.

Nyamira South OCPD Riko Ngare stated that the gangsters did not break the door to the offices adding that the theft was an inside job.
