Amani National Congress which is an affiliate party of the National Super Alliance NASA has appointed a new Secretary GeneraL.
ANC led by NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has appointed political analyst Barrack Muluka as the Party's Secretary General.
Mr Muluka will replace nominated Member of Parliament (MP) Godfrey Osotsi who previously served in the same position.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the Party administrator Mr Meli confirmed the appointment stating that Mr Muluka was elected unopposed during the Parliamentary Group meeting held on Thursday.
He further pointed out that Muluka was the most preferred candidate owing to his dedication and allegiance to the Party.

According to the party official, many candidates were locked out of the seat due to the constitutional rule which restricts party officials from being MPs.
He also clarified that Mr Osotsi was not kicked out of office indicating that his nomination to Parliament forced him to resign.
Mr Muluka is a seasoned publishing editor and political analyst who writes for the Nation and the Standard newspapers.
He is also the lead communication consultant at the Kenya based Midas Touch Media.

ANC is one of NASA's affiliate parties which also constitutes the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), Wiper Democratic Movement (Wiper) and Forum for the Restoration of Democracy (FORD Kenya).
Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) and Muungano Party (MP) are also part of the coalition.
