Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate, Dr Ekuru Aukot has launched a paybill number to help raise funds for his campaign ahead of the October 26 repeat presidential election.
Mr Aukot and his running mate Emmanuel Nzai reached out to well-wishers and their supporters to assist them to raise the needed funds.
In a meeting at a Nairobi hotel, the Thirdway Alliance launched paybill number 175555 asking Kenyans to help in his campaigns.
“Third way Alliance Kenya Presidential campaign Fund Drive Committee cordially invites all well-wishers, supporters, and Kenyans at large for a fundraiser that will enable the Ekuru-Nzai candidature to take the message of hope and change to all parts of Kenya.

NASA principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka were the first to launch such a strategy to get funds from their supporters.
The question of accountability of the funds raised in such endeavors remains critical with many Kenyans.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Elias Mutuma, who is Dr. Aukot’s lawyer, assured their supporters that the Party will publish a clear campaign documentation on how the money is spent.
“Dr. Aukot has started campaigning, he will need funds to facilitate his campaigns all over the country. The party will publish a comprehensive documentation on how every single cent will be spent. He will be very accountable because he has a good agenda of trust from his supporters,” Mr Mutuma explained.
Dr. Aukot will be facing off with President Uhuru Kenyatta and four other candidates after the NASA presidential candidate pulled out of the race.
