Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot on Wednesday revealed Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Wafula Chebukati's biggest mistake.
Dr Aukot criticised the IEBC boss for constantly calling for dialogue between National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the election.
In an interview on Jeff Koinange Live (JKL), he stated that Chebukati should stop forcing a dialogue between the two political players and instead focus on conducting the repeat poll.
"There can never be any solution to any political dialogue in this country," he stated adding that most solutions last a short term.

He argued that the only solution to the current political stalemate is to dismiss the claims that dialogue between political players could end the impasse.
The Presidential candidate also pointed out that the call for dialogue is a clear indication that the electoral commission is submitting to Raila Odinga's withdrawal from the election.
"If someone has stated that he is not going to play, why is the referee still insisting on talks with him," he noted arguing that Odinga's withdrawal should not hinder any plans.
He stated that Chebukati should work independently and stop dancing to the tunes of the two political rivals whom he faulted for the current political situation in the country.
The lawyer advised the IEBC boss to continually reveal the challenges faced by the commission and communicate the way forward.

On Wednesday, Chebukati invited all the presidential candidates, their running mates for a consultative meeting ahead of the poll scheduled for Thursday.
Nonetheless, the planned meeting has been called off until Mr Kenyatta and Mr Odinga agree to settle on a convenient date
