Moses Kuria Sends Raila's Video to ICC

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has allegedly sent a video to the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Fatou Bensouda.

The video potrays the violence that has marred the country since the August 8 general elections.

The clip shows NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga addressing his supporters at Uhuru Park where he announced that there would be no election in the country until the necessary reforms are made in IEBC.

In another incident, Mr Odinga announced that the coalition had changed the tact and would protest against the October election.

He also noted that the supporters should continue with the protests countrywide adding that the major one would be held on October 26.

Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu owino is also part of the video. In a rally, he asked the supporters not to vote during the repeat poll.

The NASA parliamentarian also told the supporters that every person should take the responsibility of ensuring that ballot boxes and papers do not get to the polling stations.

The video also shows an Al Jazeera report of NASA protestors lighting fires and throwing stones with the intention of disrupting elections.

The clip also showed that the Kenya Police reacted by throwing teargas canisters in what characterized the situation in the country during the election day.

Meanwhile, voters in the NASA perceived stronghold made good their threat by ensuring that voting did not take place in the region.
