Former NASA politicians from Ukambani now want NASA principal Kalonzo Musyoka to defect from the NASA coalition arguing that Raila Odinga is duping the Ukambani community.
Led by Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao and former Kitui central MP Joe Mutambo, the leaders noted that Mr Odinga wants to snatch Kalonzo's chance to run the 2022 presidential race.
Joe Mutambo noted that the formation of National Resistance Movement (NRM) as NASA's wing is a scheme aimed to sabotage kalonzo's chance to contest the next general election.
According to Mr Mutambo, the NASA leader has continuously been forming other coalition parties only when he has lost presidential races.

Mutambo noted that the former Prime Minister initially formed the ODM party with Kalonzo which later merged to form CORD coalition.
"The agreement was very clear, to let Kalonzo be the presidential flagbearer, but on realizing that he had lost, Odinga ran way from CORD to form the NASA coalition," he stated.
"He has lost in NASA, now he is forming NRM, this is a way of conning Kambas," Mr Mutambo stated.
On his part, Mr Musao noted that the Odinga led team wants to ascend to power through the backdoor adding that they are taking advantage of the current situation in the country."
"we want the government to crackdown the perpetrators of the gorilla movement that is cropping up.History has shown us that such movements cause bloodshed," he stated.

He called on the government to arrest Makueni Senator Johnson Muthama and his Siaya counterpart James Orengo over their remarks that they will swear in Raila Odinga even if Uhuru wins the presidential race.
