Patrobas was popular back in the day while working for KBC English Service where he used to read news alongside Elizabeth Omollo.

At the time, Patrobas was known for his audibility and clarity of voice as he informed the public of the ongoings in the government.

Missing news would leave you in the dark as all reshuffles were communicated via radio and the late Patrobas was always on top of things together with celebrated presenters Leonard Mambo Mbotela and Ken Walibora.

After his stint at KBC, Papa joined Royal Media Services as a presenter and news anchor.

Prior to his demise, he had a show on Ramogi FM where he had a legion of followers.

A number of journalists took to social media to express their sadness at his sudden demise and sent condolence messages to his family.

May his soul Rest in Peace.
