Senator Sakaja Drives Employee's Bride to Wedding- Kenyans React [VIDEO]

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja on Saturday stirred up social media after he drove the wife of his personal assistant to a wedding.

The Senator visibly jovial expressed his pleasure in being the driver for the occasion.

"I have brought the bride, from home. It is the least I could do," Senator Sakaja stated.

The bride, Ms Getrude who was seated in the back left seat of the Toyota Landcruiser described the ride as "lovely".

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, The Senator's Communication officer confirmed that Sakaja had indeed driven the bride to his P.A to the wedding ceremony that was held at Don Bosco Church in Upper Hill.

"The P.A is called Anthony Bumula Samba and the bride who is now the wife is called Getrude Nthiiri. The Senator drove her from Syokimau to the church in Upper Hill," she disclosed.

Kenyans reacted to the video with some commending the Senator for his humility and wishing more employers were like him.

 "Got lots of respect for my senator Sakaja. Down to earth," one comment read.

While others were not impressed with the entire scene: "This is show off when a majority of Kenyans are languishing in poverty."

One user took issue with the questions noticing: "That camera man needs to check his language...ati how did it feel?"
