Other reports indicated that he was arrested while distributing National Resistance Movement (NRM) T-Shirts.
Kilifi Youth leader Charles Omollo also weighed in on the matter stating that the politician was arrested while heading to church.
"I have visited him and according to the charge sheet, police claim he knows where Raila will be sworn-in. That’s why they arrested him. We still do not understand why he was not taken to Mtwapa police station," he stated.
Kilifi NASA coordinator Leah Akech on her part termed the arrest as a scheme by the government to intimidate and silence vocal NASA leaders in the county.
She further revealed that many ODM youth leaders in the region fear for their lives and have chosen to keep low profiles.
