Renowned city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has indicated that President Uhuru Kenyatta appears committed and yearning to build a more prosperous Kenya.
The lawyer, however, noted that: "His (Uhuru's) approach of ad-hocism is totally wrong and utterly misplaced."
According to Ahmednasir, in order for Uhuru to attain his, goals he needs to build solid and powerful institutions.

The lawyer also opined that the Head of State must punish wrongdoers in order to solidify his legacy during his second and final term at the helm.
Ahmednasir was responding to reports on a joint task force between Nairobi County and the national government that aims at restoring the glory of the Capital City.
During the meeting that was chaired by Uhuru, the committee members had promised that they would resign from office if they failed to attain the set-out goals.
The team leading the regeneration of Nairobi on Friday committed to ambitious timelines for the delivery of key services ranging from garbage collection to launching a mortgage refinance company.
The regeneration team comprising the national and county leaders and co-chaired by Governor Mike Sonko and Tourism CS Najib Balala met President Uhuru to agree on their commitments.
The team said garbage would be cleared from all 85 electoral wards in Nairobi within 30 days, and a clean-up of Nairobi River would also start.
