Youth Programs Director Walter Nyambane Executes Dance Moves on K24 Alfajiri

Many Kenyans know him as Nyambane for his lustrous career in the films and radio industry, having pioneered Kenya's stand up comedy in the mid-90s.

On Tuesday, Walter Mong'are alias Nambane, who currently serves as the Youth Programmes liaison person in President Uhuru's cabinet, was in interview at K24 TV where he was challenged to dance with the presenters.

Nyambane, who many have described as having nine lives similar to that of a cat, executed undoubtedly exemplary dance moves, an indication the talent had not died in him.

TV host and award-winning actress Serah Teshna and Shiko Keitanny joined Mong'are in the K24 Alfajiri TBT Edition, but turned his students, struggling to follow through his moves.

Mong'are's hit song Sweetie banana was part of the playlist, taking viewers down the memory lane remembering performances that stood out in the long gone days.

But in the dance session, Mong'are was played rhumba music to whose tune he equally impressed.

Mong’are emerged in the limelight in early 2000 as part of Red Kona comedy group that specialized in portraying former presidents Daniel Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki in a hilarious manner.

During Nairobi first governor Evans Kidero's tenure, Mong'are served as the communications director in his debut to government and the corporate and governance world.

Here is the video of Nyambane executing his dance moves in a live K24 TV broadcast:
