A Star Wars movie by the name ''Return of the Jedi" that was acted in 1983 has parts in which Kikuyu dialect has been used by a character named Nien Numb.

The character is voiced by Kipsang Rotich, a Kenyan man who speaks his native language Kalenjin, as well as in Kikuyu.

''Atiriri, inyuothe muri haria ukai haha (Can all of you come here)," Nien Numb is heard commanding.

Numb, who is a puppet character, was speaking to Lando Calrissian, the captain of starship Millenium Falcon in the film.

He was puppeteered by Mike Quinn and portrayed by Richard Bonehill in wide shots.

The Star Wars movie is well known for the use of alien languages, however, they also do some little known languages in the world.

It is an American epic space opera movie directed by Richard Marquand. The screenplay was done by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas.

In the 2015 Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, Rotich still voiced a few lines in the Kikuyu dialect.
