Four people were killed in a tragic accident in Masii on the Machakos-Kitui road yesterday afternoon.
The accident occurred after one of the tyres on a 14 seater matatu burst rolling several times.
Mwala police boss Henry Rukaria spoke to The Star, saying the driver was unable to control the car once the tyre blew out.
According to Citizen Tv, ten other passengers were seriously injured and rushed to Machakos Level Five hospital.
The driver is said to have been speeding when the accident occurred.
A witness says the same car’s tyre burst on Sunday, afew kilometers from Katangi, almost causing an accident.
