Tanzanian MP Threatens to Beat Up and Deport Kenyans [VIDEO]

A Tanzanian Member of Parliament has threatened to beat up and deport Kenyans who are currently living in the neighbouring nation.

In a video posted on twitter, the agitated legislator is seen speaking during a parliament session and implores his counterparts not to be cowardly in dealing with the serious statement made by a Kenyan Starehe MP, Charles Kanyi Njagua also known as Jaguar, to beat up and deport foreigners in the nation.

The Tanzanian legislator was speaking during a session where the entire House had decided to discuss the full impact of the Xenophobic remarks when he explosively meted out the threat.

"There was one Member of Parliament who issued those threats, yet we are spending the time of the entire legislators in this nation to deal with that (referring to Jaguar) one MP. I am sure one of us can give a sound response to the dangerous statements by the Kenyan leader, and I will take the honor of proposing the way forward," he remarked.

He further went on to give his idea on how the issue should be handled.

"Mheshimiwa spika, tusiharibu muda wetu kujadili jambo hili. Mimi mwenyewe nitaamrisha ya kwamba, tuwapige wakenya wote ambao wanafanya kazi huku Tanzania kisha tuwarudishe kule kwao Kenya. Tusijadili jambo hili zaidi, huu ni uwoga!

Which loosely translate to,

"Mr. Speaker, let us not dare to waste any more issue on this matter. We are not cowards, this is a very simple issue. I will personally order that we gather up all the Kenyans here in our nation, give them a sound beating and deport them immediately," he angrily retorted.

This sentiment was received with mixed reactions with claps being heard from some House members while some refused the possibility of effecting the threat.

"Honorable member, kindly sit down, we have heard your thoughts."  Speaker Job Ndugai calmed down the angry leader.

This comes after a rant made on Monday by the Starehe MP, who threatened to gather a number of youths and round up all the foreigners operating businesses in the nation, beat them up, then escort them to the airport for deportation.

Jaguar was arrested on Wednesday morning outside Parliament buildings in Nairobi and taken to the Nairobi Area Police Station for questioning by detectives over his statements.
