Peter Kenneth's Son Speaks in Kikuyu Leaving Congregants in Stitches

Andrew Muhuni Kenneth, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth's son, on Thursday, left congregants in stitches during the late Rahab Wambui Muhuni's funeral service.

Anthony was paying a tribute to his late grandmother, who died at the Aga Khan University Hospital last week Thursday.

Not only did he thank his grandmother for always correcting him when he was wrong, especially when he spoke in the Kikuyu language, but also affirmed that he was well versed in it.

"I usually tell them that speaking in Kikuyu is a must," he told the crowd while speaking in the language, though a bit broken.

"Shosho, I love you so much, God also loves you, rest in peace and we will meet again," he continued as they burst out in laughter, including President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was in attendance.

He went ahead and emotionally disclosed what he would miss most about his grandmother.

"Your smile, your laughter, your eyes and grip that you maintained to the very end before you went to hospital in December," he noted.

The former Gatanga MP's son told the congregation that his grandmother had watched him grow and mould him into the person that he had become.

"We had so many wonderful memories growing up, our trips, the meals we shared and the occasions we celebrated, it's a shame that we will no longer make more memories but we will forever cherish those that we have made," Anthony stated.
