Kenyan Politician Suffers Global Backlash After Begging Obama for Money

President Barrack Obama’s half brother, Malik Obama, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, rubbed Twitter users the wrong way with his tweet.

Malik had tried to expose his brother, who he described as mean with his money, and also claimed he was a liar.

According to a tweet by Malik, who vied to be Siaya governor in the 2017 General Election, the former POTUS claimed to be broke but bought a house worth Ksh1.5 billion.

Malik had allegedly tried to borrow money from the former US C in C, but hit a brick wall and resorted to the social media platform to criticise him.

A rising tide lifts all boats but not in Barack Obama's case. Buys a Ksh1.5 billion home and tells me to my face that he's broke. Slick folks,” Malik Obama tweeted.

His tweet attracted the wrath of netizens from around the globe, as people told him to look for his own wealth and stop expecting handouts from Barack.

Nebs Ho explained to Malik that Obama had the right to do whatever he wanted with his money.

You are indeed broke not only financially but intellectually to display your ignorance in public. Let Americans be and be a man and a Kenyan for that matter, hustle like many Kenyans are doing,” Jessie Kamau noted.

A seemingly angry Playa Gringo argued that no one had the right to speak that way about the first black US president, even if he was his brother.

Other Twitter users just wondered how the family reunions were in the Obama family.
