Valentine's day is probably one of those days that most girls, if not all, look forward to. An image of the flowers, chocolates, dinner dates, surprises and other treats is all they can think of for the material day.
For the men, when they are not joining the men's conference, they are busy trying to match up to their ladies expectations.
Below are 5 media celebrity couples and how they celebrated their Valentines.
1.) Anerlisa Muigai and Ben Pol
Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai and her husband Ben Pol did not leave anything to chance while celebrating Valentine's.
The two flew to Praslin Island in Seychelles, where they seemed to enjoy every minute of their time together.
In photos shared by Anerlisa on her Instagram page, the two shared a meal and drinks in the sandy beaches of an isolated island.
The two got married in a private wedding in October 2019.
2.) Wahu Kagwe and Nameless
The couple, who celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in September 2019, went for a vacation at Pride Inn beach resort in Mombasa.
They enjoyed a couple of activities from the hotel including; a spa treatment, a dinner, jacuzzi and a night walk in the beach.
"I am doing it for the Kikuyu men who have been told they cant be romantic," David Mathenge known to many as Nameless wrote on his Instagram page.
After their vacation, Nameless took his two daughters for a valentines dinner.
"You already know I had to take my girls on a valentines dinner date, get them some flowers and wear some red and black," Nameless posted.
3.) Simon Kabu and Sarah Kabu
The two, who are famed for their travel company Bonfire adventures, enjoyed a dinner aboard an exclusive romantic train in Livingstone, Zambia.
"This was spectacular. Couldn’t spend our evening better. Traversing the Zambezi Park on a train with a renowned Zimbabwe musician entertainer," read an excerpt from Kabu's Instagram post.
"The fine dining was out of this world. This was just for you( referring to the wife)," he added.
4.) The WaJesus family
Peter Kabi and Millie Kabi famed for their name 'The WaJesus family' celebrated valentines together for the sixth year since they started dating.
The couple went for a vacation in Zimbabwe where they posted a couple of photos at the Victoria falls.
"Took her for a helicopter ride over Victoria falls," Kabi captioned one of their videos aboard the plane.
5.) Jalang'o
Milele FM Presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o was also not left behind.
The comedian posted photos of his better half and stated, "Yesterday, today and forever. Happy Valentine's!"
In one of the photos, Jalang'o posed beside a table full of roses and hinted that he was waiting for his wife.
"Ready for Jaber (wife)!...I have sent an apology to the organisers Mens conference! I am not coming!" he stated.
