In an act of solidarity against Covid-19, Amisom KDF troops in Somalia have set up a molecular laboratory in Dhobley, Somalia.

The state of the art laboratory will facilitate onsite Covid-19 sample collection and processing, with results out every 6 hours.

The new establishment will facilitate early detection and treatment of any cases among the troops and the local community.

This development comes in the wake of Kenya receiving fabricated fury from Somalia. President Farmajo's government has accused Kenya of interfering in Somalia’s political affairs.

Somalia has since recalled the country’s ambassador to Kenya, Mohamed Tarzan, and expelled Ambassador Lucas Tumbo from Mogadishu.

Somalia's accusations of Kenya look to have little to do with actions KDF has taken in Somalia and more to do with the unstable state of Somalia's internal politics.

Earlier this year, Farmajo was accused of engineering the ouster of his then Prime minister Ali Khaire, a Norwegian citizen.

Khaire was replaced by a Swiss citizen Mohamed Roble. In a classic act of blindsiding, Roble allegedly ganged up with other politicians in an attempt to oust Farmajo.

Farmajo is an American citizen with connections to the American Republican party. A connection he flaunts publicly.

President Farmajo is up for re-election in 2021 and has been targeting Somalia's neighbors including Ethiopia in a barrage of diplomatic attacks that are aimed at diverting attention from domestic issues.
