Just a day after Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) was declared fake, his college certificate has also been challenged.

While giving his testimony in court on Wednesday, October 27, former Head of Examinations at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) John Matsheshe, disclosed that Sudi never attended classes at the institution.

He further noted that the Diploma Certificate that the lawmaker held was originally prepared for another student named Elkanah K. Kimutai.

His admission number in the institution also reportedly belongs to a different person.

Reports indicated that the certificate that Sudi holds was awarded to him in 2005, a year before he officially received his KCSE certificate.

The certificate in question was of a Diploma in Purchasing Management.

“The admission number NRB/20879 belongs to Scholastica Achieng Odhiambo of Diploma in Management of NGOs. The student was registered in 2005.

“The copy of the presented certificate is not a copy of a genuine document issued by the Institute. The number 36262 on the certificate belongs to a document issued to Elkanah K Kimutai of admission number NRB/20870 of Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management which was issued on September 24, 2009,” testified Matsheshe.

The outspoken lawmaker is accused of forging a certificate in Business Management purporting it to be a genuine document issued by the Kenya Institute of Management.

On Tuesday, October 26, Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Principal Examinations Secretary, Nabiki Kashu, told Magistrate Felix Kombo that Sudi did not register or sit for the KCSE exams in 2006 at Highway Secondary School.

She added that Sudi's certificate belongs to Parklands Secondary School.

Nabiki, who is the head of records and archives at KNEC, told the court that Sudi's records do not appear in either Highway or Parklands Secondary Schools.
