Baringo Women Representative Grace Kiptui has been admitted at Nairobi Hospital after allegedly attempting to take away her own life.
Reports on the alleged suicide were first revealed by KANU Youth representative Rono Kipchumba who stated that the legislator had taken poison.
Details are still scanty on what transpired compelling Ms Kiptui to attempt the alleged suicide attempt.
A source close to the lawmaker confirmed to Kenyans.co.ke that she had indeed been rushed to hospital but declined to divulge more on the incident.
Nonetheless, some of her supporters rubbished the suicide attempt reports noting that Kiptui was simply admitted over fatigue.
In 2016, the legislator was involved in two road accidents; one in April in which her driver died and another in September which forced her to be airlifted to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a section of online users has moved to wish her quick recovery.
