JKIA Closed to Allow Kenya Air Force to Train

Flights at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) will on Wednesday morning be interrupted following activities by the Kenya Air Force.

According to reports, the airspace will remain out of bounds for any other flights to allow the Air Force conduct its training in preparation for Jamhuri Day celebrations on December 12.

Kenya Airways (KQ) stated that at least nine of its flights would be affected by the closure which will start from 11.20am – 12.20pm.
