A Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) employee yesterday died from electrocution as he was attending to a transformer.
The middle aged man in Chemelet village, Bomet County was reportedly electrocuted while connecting a cable to a newly installed transformer.
According to a Citizen Digital report, the man forgot to switch off the main power supply before doing the connection.
Confirming the incident Bomet county police commandant Leah Kithei, said the man died on the spot.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to the Kapkatet County Hospital mortuary.
