Kwale Senator Boy Juma Boy Dies at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi

Kwale Senator Boy Juma Boy has died at Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.

The Senator had been ailing for the past one week and was transferred from Mombasa to Nairobi three days ago.

According to the family, Mr Juma was suffering from High Blood Pressure and was in the ICU for one week.

On Sunday morning, Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo had told the media that Juma Boy was responding well to treatment at Aga Khan Hospital.

"Senator Boy has been sick for one week and has been receiving treatment in a Mombasa hospital before being transferred to Nairobi three days ago," the Kilifi Senator stated.

The deceased Senator first joined Parliament as Matuga MP in 1988 when he succeeded his father Juma Boy, and later contested the Senate seat in the 2013 elections.

He retained his parliamentary seat in the 1988 and 1992 elections and also once served as the Kanu Chief Whip.
