A woman was Wednesday arraigned in court for battering and injuring a Form Three student who was making sexual advances to her daughter in Nairobi.
Gladys Kwamboka alongside two other suspects are accused of senselessly beating up the boy after finding a love letter he had supposedly penned for her daughter.
Ms Kwamboka is said to have ganged up with her neighbours - Patrick Mokaya and Veny Kerubo - to attack the high school student.
The court heard that on the day of the assault, Ms Kwamboka stormed the teenager's house, switched off the television and brutally descended on the boy.
“Kwamboka's co-accused, who were outside and allegedly armed with crude weapons, are said to have joined in the attack that left the teenager with serious injuries,” the court file read in part.
The case will be mentioned on May 19, 2016.
