Njuri Ncheke Elders Declare A Curse On Education CS Jacob Kaimenyi

The Njuri Ncheke council of elders in Meru County has placed a curse on Education Cabinet secretary Jacob Kaimenyi.

Kaimenyi is alleged to have declined to honour summons to appear before the elders, for failing to recognise the current Njuri Ncheke leadership.

The elder's Secretary General Josephat Murangiri claims that the CS undermined their leadership after he defied protocol by ignoring them and instead recognising the former Njuri Ncheke leaders at the rally The Star reports.

The elder's held a traditional cursing ceremony Sunday, chanting “he is an outcast and should not transact any Njuri Ncheke business.”

According to the elders Kaimenyi should never identify himself as an elder of Njuri Ncheke, greet any Njuri Ncheke elder or set foot at any Njuri Ncheke shrine until he is cleansed.

Murangiri has further cautioned President Uhuru Kenyatta not to use the CS as a mediator or messenger to them because they will not accept that.
