A pastor was found unconscious in Evangelist, Prophet David Owuor's home in Mugwe Court, Gigiri, Nairobi after he attempted to take his own life on Tuesday morning.
Pastor Fred Otieng who is an affiliate to Prophet Owuor, allegedly attempted to take his own life after citing frustrations and problems in his life, he wrote on his suicide note.
The man who attempted to burn himself with cooking gas, was rushed to MP Shah Hospital before being transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital for further examinations.
Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno confirmed the incident saying neighbours rescued the victim after smoke was seen emanating from the house.
The pastor is also said to have sent text messages to his friends including Pastor Owuor who is currently in an evangelical ministry in Kisumu.
