Two men will be arraigned in court on Wednesday after seven kilograms of cocaine valued at Sh30 Million was retrieved from their house in Utawala area in Nairobi County.
Peter Okoth Odongo aka Black and Bradley Juma aka Timmy were arrested following a tip-off on their deals.
Juma was caught ferrying narcotics to Ethiopia in his suitcase.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect volunteered information to the police leading them to Okoth’s residence where the second suspect was arrested and more drugs found,” police officers noted.
Police officers recovered white cocaine in Okoth's house and more drugs from a hideout in their toilet.
The suspects were arraigned in court at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) where police officers were ordered to remand them for a week.
Okoth is reported to be an international drug dealer who started as a drug mule for Nigerian cartels when he was studying in India before he was deported in 2009.
