CORD leader Raila Odinga took a break from politics on Friday to join Muslims at Idhamia Hall, Malindi town where he dived into a sea of delicacies.
The Opposition leader was accompanied to the Iftar - a meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadhan - by Governor Amason Kingi, Senators Stewart Mwadzayo, James Orengo and Johnston Muthama as well as Members of Parliament Junet Mohamed and Aisha Jumwa.
However, his pair of white socks appeared stained in pictures captured from the event. It is unclear whether the socks caught dirt after stepping on dropped foods or he left home in them as they were.
On Friday Mr Odinga toured Kilifi County where he led the homecoming of Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa after her release from police detention.
