A university student was found dead at the bottom of a cliff by his friends in Kabarnet Town.
The 23-year-old Gilbert Kibet Kimosop, a second year at Kenyatta University Nakuru Campus, was announced missing after he attended an engagement party on Saturday night.
It is reported that Kimosop left the ceremony at Kiptilit in Baringo Central Sub-County and went for a rave at Cifika Club.
His body was discovered at the bottom of Kiplewel cliff in the outskirts of Karbanet town on Sunday morning.
The body was on Tuesday evening removed from the 200-metre deep cliff and taken to Baringo County Referral Hospital mortuary where a post-mortem is to be conducted.
“We call on people, especially those not conversant with the terrain of the area to exercise caution to avert such disasters,” said County Police Commandant Peter Ndungu who indicated that investigations into the matter are in progress.
