Kenyans on social media were on Wednesday morning involved in various discussions including:

1. Happy New Month

Kenyans on Twitter were ecstatic that the presumably long month of January was over. A conversation was initiated to welcome the new month which a section prophesied would be a good one following the rain experience on Tuesday night in various parts of the country.

2. Moktar Daddah Street

This street in Nairobi's city centre got on the trends after a suspected bomb was found at the door of Technical Institute of Kenya on Moktar Daddah Street, near Jeevanjee gardens.

3. Akasha Brothers

The sons of the slain drug lord Ibrahim Akasha - Ibrahim and Baktash - were still of Kenya's trending topics on Wednesday morning after the Government extradited them to the United States.

The two are wanted by a New York court for allegedly importing banned drugs in the US.

4. BVR Cleanup

CORD leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday claimed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was registering Kenyans with non-existence Identification cards.

Mr Odinga held a presser where he said: "We have unearthed serious anomalies in the on-going voter registration that bring to questions the integrity of the register being compiled and the figures being released by the IEBC."

The Opposition leader added: "Our investigation has confirmed that numbers that do not qualify as identity card numbers have been used to register voters in parts of the country and that is responsible for what is being presented as high turnout in voter registration in those regions."
