The late Kibra MP Ken Okoth will be remember for years to come due, to his track record as well the bravery he showed during his battle with cancer.
Few politicians can be described as dedicated legislators who are connected well with their people and Ken Okoth was one of them.
He was known for his development agenda, particularly championing literacy and education, with Mbagathi Girls High School as one of his legacy projects.
In May 2019, Kenyans were impressed when Okoth revealed photos of another school that he was constructing in his constituency.
Unfortunately he passed on in July before the completion of the project. His successor and brother Bernard Imran Okoth vowed to continue in his footstep and ensure the departed politician's vision in Kibra is fulfilled.
