Muriithi Wanjau, or Pastor M, as he is popularly known, is the senior pastor of Mavuno Church, a movement of churches based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a presence in 10 different nations.
He studied Biochemistry at the University of Nairobi before getting a Masters in Divinity from Fuller Seminary in Southern California.
He is also the founder of the Fearless Summit, a large societal transformation conference annually attended by over 1000 delegates from over 15 different nations. Muriithi, his wife Carol and their three teenagers live in Nairobi, Kenya.
He has previously served as the Outreach Pastor at Nairobi Chapel, a fast-growing urban church movement based out of downtown Nairobi, and as the resident pastor of Elmbrook Church in downtown Milwaukee.
Muriithi’s passions include leadership development and societal transformation. He is an author of several books including ‘Mizizi: Plugging Into Your God Purpose’, a discipleship manual that has been translated into at least 6 different languages and used in numerous churches across the world.
He has also written several other popular books. Muriithi is an internationally-renowned conference speaker who has spoken on all 6 continents. He is an influential thought leader mentoring many younger leaders who are seeking to bring positive change to their cities and nations across the African continent and beyond.
