Co-op Bank Reduces Lending Rates on Personal Loans & Asset Finance from 14% P.a. to 13% P.a

Co-op Bank has made a significant move to reduce the interest rates charged on Personal Loans and Asset Finance to selected key borrowers from 14 per cent per annum to 13 per cent p.a. with effect from April 1 this year.

This rather ‘contrarian approach’ bucks the industry trend where the majority of the lenders are revising lending rates significantly upwards, especially in light of the recent upward adjustment of CBR by a huge 75 basis points to 9.5 per cent.

I can’t remember if I ever desired to be a teacher during my primary school years. I had different ambitions but fell in love with teaching in my latter secondary school years.

Okay, picture this. We had planned for junior secondary schools to be domiciled in High Schools, but the government decided otherwise.

It was directed that junior secondary, Grades 7 to 9, be domiciled in primary school. Were we ready for more students? I can’t say.

But sometimes we miss our students. Oh! I mean your children. Haa.
