Legendary Christiano Ronaldo scored in both Premier and Champions Leagues second debuts for Manchester United. Considered one of the best football players of all time, Ronaldo scored a brace in the Red Devils 3-1 win over Newcastle.

However, it was the 2-1 loss to Switzerland’s league champions, Young Boys, that stunned Ole Gunner Solksjaer’s men in their first Champions League 2021 match. Ronaldo scored a goal but could not salvage his team from the loss after defender Aaron Wan Bisaka was sent off.

Man United’s next game is a tricky away match against West Ham at London Stadium on Sunday, September 19, at 4pm, an early kickoff.

David Moyes-coached West Ham will be out to inflict more pain on a bruised Man Utd, seeking to end the latter’s unbeaten start in the Premier League. It is worthy to note that both Man United and West Ham are unbeaten in the 2021/2022 season so far.

Man United have won three games, drawn in one and lost none, amassing 10 points while West Ham have won two matches, drawn two and lost none, with 8 points.
