Arsenal and former Invincible captain, Patrick Vieira, are set for an emotional reunion when their old boy visits Emirates Stadium on Monday, October 18.

Vieira-coached Crystal Palace will face off with Arsenal in the Monday football London Derby at 10 pm.

The French coach, who captained Arsenal to the 2004 unbeaten Premier League trophy, will, however, be cautious of the Mikel Arteta coached-Arsenal who will be seeking to extend their impressive English Premier League form.

The Gunners drew 0-0 with Brighton, beat lifetime rivals Tottenham Hotspurs 3-1, and won 1-0 against both Burnley and Norwich.

The run saw Mikel Arteta named September 2021 Barclays Manager of the Month. The turnaround came after Arsenal lost its first three matches; 5-0 to Manchester City and 2-0 to both Chelsea and Brentford.

Crystal Palace has W1 D2 L4 of their last 7 matches.
