Scar Mkadinali of the famous hip-hop group Wakadinali will be entertaining revellers at the Club 1824, one of the oldest and most notable icons of Nairobi's nightlife.
The artist known for his punchline in songs such as Geri Inengi and others will be performing solo and live today, Thursday, January 11, from 5 pm amid speculation that he could be going off on his own to work on a solo project ala Bien from Sauti Sol“
Revellers who have been trooping to the club which is popular not only in Lang’ata but across Nairobi and its metropolis are looking forward to an electrifying performance, music by notable DJs and a night of whisky and other drinks.
Club 1824, known for its reputable entertainment menu, ambience, great hosts and food has been open throughout the December festivities, the New Year and January.
In December revellers flooded Club 1824 for amazing performances with most of them even crossing the year at one of Nairobi’s most popular entertainment joints.
An insider at the club thus quashed reports claiming that it was shut down in a directive issued by the Nairobi County Government. Other reports claimed that the entertainment joint was closed down owing to a dispute between the landlord and the owner.
“We are open contrary to reports claiming we shut down. Revellers should expect big events this year as we continue to be pacesetters in the entertainment industry,” the insider stated.

Club 1824 is located along Langata Road Opposite Carnivore Junction and 1.7 miles from Nairobi National Park. It provides ample parking space and security.
Meanwhile, Scar Mkadinali has already done several collabos away from his group including Lifestyle featuring Bien of Sautisol, Utaniget ft Masterpiece King and Tsunami featuring veteran rapper OG - Khaligraph Jones.
His solo projects include Whip Inapiga Madoba, which has garnered 1.7 million views on his YouTube page, and OPPS, which has 738K. His YouTube page has 14 videos with 68.3K subscribers.
