Ambassador Raychelle Awour Omamo SC is the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of State for Defense. She is an intelligent, conscientious and articulate Kenyan woman with proven leadership and professional skills in the areas of law and diplomacy.

Prior to her appointment she was the Director of CoSec Solutions Limited where she provided oversight and advice regarding the formulation of corporate governance training programs. She also has 19 years experience in full time practice at Omamo & Omamo Advocates. Ambassador Omamo has served in various professional services including:

Ambassador Amina Mohamed is an accomplished diplomat and distinguished negotiator, Ambassador Amina has a wealth of experience spanning over 28 years of public service in Kenya and at the international level.

She has over the years earned a reputation as distinguished diplomat, lawyer, manager and policymaker working across a broad spectrum of issues facing the global community from International Trade and disarmament issues to the exciting field of sustainable development and environmental policy.

Ms Anne Waiguru has an academic background and experience in economic and public policy.

She holds a Masters degree in Economic Policy from the University of Nairobi, and, has specialized experience in public finance, financial management systems, public service reform and capacity building, and, governance.

Ms Waiguru was the Director, Integrated Financial Management andInformation System (IFMIS), and, Head of Governance at the National Treasury.
