“Following wild, baseless, and false claims by some pseudo politicians in Kakamega, I've today been forced to indefinitely postpone the burial of my trusted fighter bull caretaker,” Khalwale cited.

He also clarified that he had invited the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), to his home to conduct investigations into the case to ascertain the facts.

“Meanwhile, today, I hosted a team of DCI detectives at my Malinya Home for a thorough fact-finding mission over the unfortunate demise of the late Kizito Moi Amukune,” read Khalwale’s statement.

Further, the Senator confirmed that his home was open for the detectives to conduct their investigations anytime for them to make credible conclusions.

The allegations, in question, were made by a Kakamega tycoon, who stated that there needed to be an enquiry on the death of the caretaker insinuating that the Senator was not truthful about the cause of death..

This was a result of the death of the Senator’s long-time caretaker who was mulled by one of the Senator’s fighter bulls.

The Senator had issued a statement indicating that the caretaker had come home seemingly drunk after taking busaa. The lawmaker revealed that the bull was attracted by the smell of molasses.

It was further reported that the bull attacked the caretaker, which caused his death.
