Coca-Cola on Monday announced that it had rewarded over 1.3 million Kenyans with a total of Ksh122 million through the KachingChing na Coke promotion.
As the campaign enters the ninth week, nine winners become instant millionaires. The campaign aims to distribute Ksh163 million to over 2 million winners by the end of the promotion in August.
Theuri Chege the Country Manager for Coca-Cola Kenya while commenting on the promotion stated that the company was driven by the purpose of refreshing the world and making a difference. The global company hopes that the cash prices will transform the lives of consumers.
"In the previous years, we have offered trips and shopping vouchers. Considering the difficult economic times that Kenyans are facing, we decided to not only offer cash prizes but triple our previous reward amounts to directly impact our consumers' lives. We know that this will directly transform the lives of our consumers."
'We have been awarding Ksh1 million to one grand winner each week, 35 winners of Ksh10,000 and thousands of winners between Ksh50 and ksh100 daily during the campaign," Chege remarked.
