Since President Uhuru Kenyatta ascended to power in 2013, Kenya has received more attention than it had in 51 years.

Leaders from the world have trooped to the country beginning with US President Barrack Obama in July 2015.

Since Obama's visit, Kenya has become a major stopover for many leaders touring Africa.

1. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – July 5, 2016

Netanyahu's visit to Kenya was the first visit to the country by an Israeli premier.

During the Israeli PM's visit, major roads around the city were shut down without prior notice leaving many city residents stuck on the roads for long.

Interestingly, Netanyahu apologised for the inconvenience.

Zuckerberg made a surprise visit to the country and paid a visit to Mama Oliech's restaurant where he feasted on fish and ugali.

3. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe – August 2016

It was the first time Abe visited Kenya to attend the Japan's African development conference (TICAD) that was being held in Nairobi.
