Upon receiving the call, she stated that she was alarmed which led her to ask her informers what had happened to the 24-year-old son.

“I tried to ask what was happening and I was told that Kiptoo had been seriously injured. It was so bad that I did not comprehend what was happening but later on, I was told he was stabbed by his friend,” she further shared.

The aunt of the deceased, Rose Bwamu, also expressed the agony the family was subjected to following the sudden death of their kin.

“Most of the time, we have been asking for girls to be protected. We are also asking for our boys to be protected because they are also assaulted. I am appealing to the government to help Kiptoo get justice,” she stated.
